What’s a PerfectCard prepaid card?

The PerfectCard prepaid is a card you can top up and use on-line, in shops, restaurants, cinemas etc. and also abroad – anywhere you see the MasterCard acceptance mark. You can withdraw money from ATM machines both in Ireland and abroad.

Who can buy a PerfectCard prepaid card?

Anyone older than 18 years resident in ROI or UK. We will need
proof of identity and address once you load more than €150/£150 on your card.

How do I activate my card?

In order to start using your PerfectCard prepaid card you need to setup your account, then enter your 16 digit card number. This will automatically activate your card.

How to get my PIN?

First you need to register your mobile via your on-line account.
Then select your PerfectCard prepaid card and hit ‘Request PIN’.
Your PIN will be sent to your mobile. We recommend you memorise your PIN and delete the text.

How do I top up my card?

There are a number of ways to top up your card:

By bank transfer. Set PerfectCard up as a Payee in your on-line banking. Login to your on-line account for bank account details and payment reference.

By debit card. Login to your on-line account and select ‘Add Funds’.

By cash or card at point of purchase in Blanchardstown Town Centre, Dundrum Town Centre, or Pavilions Shopping Centre.

What do I do if my card is lost or stolen?

You can report your card lost or stolen by simply logging into your account, selecting the card and hitting the ‘Report Lost’ button. Your card will be blocked immediately and a replacement card sent out to you.

Can’t go on-line? Call 1850 596 496, select option to report your card lost, enter your card number and your card will be blocked immediately and a replacement card sent out to you.

Temporarily misplaced as opposed to definitely lost your card? You can ‘block’ it until it turns up. This will prevent any transactions happening until you unblock your block via the website or the app.

Where can I get my balance?

Just register your card on the website or download the app.

Can I get transaction history?

You can see transactions for the past 6 months via the website or the app. If you wish to see transactions further back than this, request a transaction history via the website. There is a €1 charge for this which will be deducted from your card.

How do I use my card on-line?

Simply enter your 16-digit card number, expiry date and the 3-digit CVV (sometimes called security code) that is found on the back of the card.

How do I use my card in a store?

Simply insert your card into the terminal and enter your PIN when prompted.

How do I withdraw money from an ATM?

Insert your card into the ATM machine, enter your PIN when prompted and the amount you want to withdraw. You can withdraw a maximum of €250/£250 in a day and no more than 4 daily withdrawals can be made.

How do I close my account?

If for any reason you decide to close your account any remaining funds, less an administration fee of €10, will be returned to a bank account in your name. Please contact our customer support team to arrange this.
